I am a Certified Life Coach. I received my training in 2019 from the ICF Accredited, Coach Training Alliance. I like to work one-on-one in a conversational manner where I ask honed questions to draw out your thoughts, desires and superpowers for you to examine. Through this process I help you clarify your goals, inspire you to think big, and motivate you to develop a plan for success. I’ll hold you accountable to your plan and together we will iterate the process until you are coaching yourself and fully own your plan.
A Little More About The Process
Clarify: These days we have endless opportunities, but having infinite possibilities is not necessarily comforting, in fact it can be paralyzing. I help women explore the forest and to find the trees. I’m trained to listen to you carefully, without judgment or agenda, and help you identify what your goal really is. We look for what rings true to you, what matters most, where your boundaries are, and what you truly want from your life. Inspire: It’s hard to envision a future you’ve not yet seen before, so in this step we look at possibilities. I help you envision your potential. We peak into a different reality, push away the fear and imagine what may even seem unrealistic. Motivate: Once you can picture what you desire and clarify your goal, I work with you to develop a roadmap to get there. We’ll look at how you operate, how you get things done, how you create change and how you develop habits. Starting small is the best approach here, so we devise a plan, detail the steps and dive into action! Change is hard and it takes work, but you can do it, I know you can. I’ve seen some amazing accomplishments through coaching. I will keep you true to your goal, steer you back on your path if you wander, and hold you accountable to your plan.
The Co-Creative Relationship
The relationship between a coach and client is Co-Creative, meaning that we work together as equals. I am not a therapist, financial advisor, counselor or consultant. I am a trained as a coach to support you using honed communication skills to support you in a way that brings your unique life skills to bear on any subject. Together we create more power for you to effect meaningful change and take dynamic actions towards your goals. This co-creative relationship is powerful and can result in your personal and professional growth by guiding you to develop your strategy for achieving your goals.
Your Role
Initially, I will help you clarify your goals for coaching, but in no time you will be calling the shots and steering the coaching topics. To make the most of each coaching session, please take time to determine what you would like to take away from the sessions. This might be a plan to complete a project, a strategy to get more of something you want, or a plan to gain more stability in some aspect of your life. We will work together to drill down on your agenda and the more specific you can be the more will come out of our work together. You will do your best work when you are open, honest, focused and committed to the process of coaching. Treat our coaching as the valuable investment that it is. Ultimately this will be your agenda and you will develop your plan and actions.
My Role
As your coach, I will listen closely to you, respond to what I hear and ask questions. When I hear something in your voice or language that sparks an intuitive thought, I’ll work with you to explore the thought through questioning, reflection and visioning. Often, it is the small moments that bring about big shifts. I am here for you and not attached to being right or to steering you towards my agenda. I will not give you advice, but rather help you discover the answers that are based on your life experiences. I will not take ownership of your plan, but will hold you accountable for the actions you have developed to achieve your goals. I can provide you with resources and referrals.
